How long will it be until I feel different?
Many patients start to feel reduced brain fog, increase energy and motivation in as little as one week and almost always within the first month, that said its critical to attend recurring labs and appointments to make sure your levels have been optimized as some outliers can take up to three months to feel significant improvement
Does testosterone replacement therapy really work?
Yes, study after study shows that TRT works, once hormones have been optimized over the initial 90 days most patients report an Increase in mental focus and motivation, improved energy, reduction in body fat, increase in lean muscle mass, improvement in performing vigorous physical activity due to increased strength and endurance, improved recovery and sleep, a more stable mood, improved sexual performance and drive and better overall enjoyment of life.
How painful is the injection?
The injections can be done intramuscularly or sub-cutaneous with very small needles and pain is extremely minimal to non-existent
What is a normal test range?
“Normal” values for Men range from the high 200s to the low 900s of total testosterone measured in nanograms per deciliter. This is a broad range and typically what a Primary Care doctor will look at. That said we do a complete Hormone Panel including Total and Free Testosterone, Estradiol, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, LH and FSH. In addition to determining what your Ideal Total Testosterone should be based on how they balance and interact with all your other hormones our Doctor will come up with a customized treatment protocol to optimize your entire panel and help you to feel the best you can.
What is the cost?
Our initial lab panel is $149 and includes your first doctor visit where you will review your labs with the doctor and discuss the ideal treatment protocol. We have a number of treatment options that typically range between $199 & $299 per month which includes all follow up labs and visits with the doctor to modify your plan.
Do you bill through insurance?
CRMH doesn’t not bill through insurance as most insurance companies will not approve the optimal level of treatment for our patients.
Will I lose weight?
Most patients do see an improvement in body composition in the first 90days. That said, if weight loss is one of your goals, when your hormones are optimized, and you increase your activity and improve your nutrition patients find that their weight loss goals are much easier to achieve. All our patients get a free nutrition consultation with our nutritionist and a free week of group and personal training.
Will I gain energy?
Yes, most patients see a significant increase in energy and motivation in the first month of treatment.
Does it help with anxiety?
Yes, most patients see improvements in the overall stability of their mood.
Are you open on weekends?
We are currently not open weekend but plan to be open on Saturdays in the near future.
